First Roll Over
Mom and Dad were doing the insanity workout in the front room and we had Kix all set up on his mat. We were almost done with the workout when Dad put Kix on his belly for some tummy time. To our excitement, when we looked over next he was on his back again. WOW! Kix rolled over. We were so excited. We were able to get this on tape. Watch as Dad coached him the whole way. The next day, Kristin at daycare said she got to see him roll over as well. Way to go little buddy.

Kix is growing up so fast. We are always trying new things to keep him stimulated and learning at home. He loves to lay on his little mat at home. Lately he has really like grabbing for things. We could not believe that he actually grabbed the activity bar above on his own and realized it played music if he pulled hard enough. He did this several times, and even re-grabbed the ring after it feel out of his hand. What a big boy.

Schedules are key at our house. We do the same thing every night. Playtime time and books. Bath time with mommy. Diaper, lotion, jammies and combing his hair. We do the ABC’s and numbers with him while we do this. Sometimes he even makes sounds and sings with Mom. Then we head back downstairs for some winding down. Bottle and bed. Check out part of the routine. We look forward to this every day!!!!

Yeah, no pictures this time, but wanted to share that our little boy has his first sinus infection. HE CERTAINLY GETS THIS FROM HIS FATHER! Anyways, Kixton had been waking up at odd hours and just been a bit more irritable, along with some noticeable congestion and sniffles = we did what any first timers would and rushed him to the doctor! Turns out he has a sinus infection and it has drained to one of his ears and has caused a slight ear infection. He is such a trooper, not much complaining from him or even sadness. Still full of smiles like we love! We are working with some antibiotics to knock it out and we are on our way to the next germ he gets from...
